Presidio, Texas is a small town of ~4000 people economically inter-dependent on cross-border neighbor Ojinaga, Mexico which has ~28,000 people. The town is fairly isolated – ~250 miles from El Paso and close to the Big Bend of Texas.
That economic interdependence and isolation means the wall isn’t popular.
Presidio’s relationship with Mexico is a family affair. Numerous residents feel President Trump’s wall talk excludes them entirely.
