10,000 people this past week in Rio Grande Valley

CPB tells us of ~10,000 arrivals this past week in the Rio Grande Valley including ~2,400 near Roma. Temperatures are rising so will be interesting to see if this falls off with summer heat.

Border fencing near Roma

The amount of new border fencing in Starr County has been reduced from 8 miles to 4 miles. This particularly helps Roma area where potential fencing plans were invasive.
